I have been a patient of Gwinnett Eye Clinic since my daughter was in elementary school and I have to say Dr. Phillip Johnson is a staple in my family and the only doctor I will see for my family eye care needs. He is very knowledgeable and makes you feel very comfortable and has always answered all of my questions for my eye care visits. The front desk staff is uuuuuuggghhhmazing, very friendly and willing to accommodate your scheduling needs!

Wonderful clinic! I went to Dr. Johnson for years and he is absolutely fantastic. Kind, caring, and very thorough. I had to leave for a few years due to having to move to an ophthalmologist for eye issues but am now finally able to come back to get glasses here again. In the eyeglass department I've only worked with Kathleen, James, and today a new person named Nerissa. All three of them are wonderful. Nerissa helped me today with my new glasses and she was welcoming, friendly, and made sure my glasses were adjusted correctly, and all with a smile. I never felt like I was "just another customer" but rather like a genuinely valued client.

All in all, I've had wonderful experiences with Gwinnett Eye Clinic.

Have been using this practice for all of my eye care needs for over 38 years. They invest in, utilize and stay current with the latest technologies in eye care which is important to me as I have been diagnosed with dry macular degeneration that is being managed by a leading retina specialist in the Atlanta area, one of many leading eye care experts that Dr. Johnson is well connected with. The practice is very nice, conveniently located, and the staff are well trained, professional, and kind. Dr. Johnson is an excellent communicator and takes the time to show you images taken as well as explain to you the results of the tests taken. So blessed to have this team in our community.

Outside of my normal annual exam I had a recent emergency visit for an unexpected eye issue. The team got me on the schedule and Dr Johnson took good care of me as he always does. I am grateful to have a caring optometrist and staff that is looking out for me.

Been seeing Dr Johnson for more years than I care to remember. LOL! He tells it like it is in a very professional yet caring manner. There’s no doubt he cares about his patients. My entire family goes to him. If you need to see a specialist, he recommends people he has gone to or would go to. Again, putting his patients care first. Don’t know what I’ll do if he ever decides to retire! If you need an eye doctor , he’s your man. His office staff is friendly and welcoming yet professional. I see the same faces each annual checkup. They seem happy and enjoying their job. I believe he has several who have been with him from the beginning. The place and the people are great!

Our family has used Gwinnett Eye Clinic for over 20 years and have always been pleased with the staff and doctors. They are very thorough and friendly and both doctors are fantastic. Plus they have a great selection of eyewear.
